Simon Marshall

Founder

Simon Marshall, founder, set up TBD Marketing in 2018. The agency has doubled in size during the pandemic. Prior to that, he held senior marketing positions at six various law firms ranging from UK top 40 to top 10 including Simmons & Simmons, Osborne Clarke and Burges Salmon LLP to one of the world’s largest international law firms Dewey Ballantine. He ran the insurance sector at Dewey Ballantine, a white shoe US law firm equivalent to a UK magic circle firm, and brought in $400m in revenue. Prior to joining the legal sector, he worked in journalism and public relations. He specialises in digital marketing, content writing, professional services business development, integrated marketing campaigns, public relations, social media and internal communications.

Emma Roby

Marketing Manager

Emma Roby, marketing manager, joined TBD in August 2021. She previously spent six years in marketing and business development, having started her career at UK top 50 law firm Freeths LLP. CIM-qualified, she specialises in professional services business development, key account management, event marketing and social media. She has experience across the full marketing mix, with an excellent understanding of fast-growing private companies, private equity and listed companies.

Jemma Crutchlow-Porter

Business Manager

Jemma Crutchlow-Porter, business manager, joined TBD as a consultant in 2019. She previously worked at the Welsh Assembly Government and NHS. She has a wide range of experience working with owners and directors of small businesses. She has a strong track record of working on projects involving sequence automation, website management and sales funnels.

Sameena Safdar Kluck

Consultant

Sameena Safdar Kluck is an innovation evangelist and social media strategist. A former practicing lawyer, she has spent years working in large and small legal technology companies ranging from Fortune 50 companies like Thomson Reuters to startups like LawGeex. Sameena first sold legal technology to top-ranked law firms and in-house teams, then realized her passion lies in legal marketing and branding. She founded Amplify Your Voice LLC to advise companies and individuals on how to boost their visibility and brand through social media amplification and training; she often assists in creating and promoting events and writing content of all kinds (blogs, press releases, case studies, and award nominations) to boost awareness.

She also writes and speaks nationally on personal branding, employee advocacy programs, innovation and emerging technologies, access to justice, and diversity, inclusion, and equity, both in the legal industry and in all types of businesses.

Giselle Daverat

PR Consultant

Giselle Daverat, public relations consultant, works with TBD on a number of projects and key accounts. She has 15 years of experience in Legal PR and reputation management, and launched her own consultancy in August 2015 where she advises predominantly law firms and individuals on profile raising and crisis comms. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Birmingham and a Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. She has vast experience advising on strategic communications campaigns, day-to-day PR activities, directory and award submissions, and ghost writing.

Joel Larsson, tracking and analytics consultant, has experience working with the entire sales funnels from the first touchpoint to building loyal customers.
