Pull quote

“I am a strong believer in working as hard on yourself as you do in your job.”
From the “I’m 29 today” post, 21 March 2026. 219 likes, 106 comments. One line that explains why a medical negligence solicitor’s birthday post outperforms most thought-leadership pieces in the sector.

Current ranking: #6

Signature move

Personal manifesto plus practice. Horley’s biggest posts pair a life milestone with an explicit statement of what she does for clients. The 29th birthday post is the canonical example. A “28 for 28” personal list, then a passage about why visibility on LinkedIn matters. Clients with medical negligence claims finding her at the worst moment of their lives. The combination is what travels. Self-development on its own would feel hollow; the practice anchor stops that.

Topic fingerprint

  • Personal milestones with practice substance attached. Birthdays, lists, training, races. Always tied back to the work.
  • Medical negligence practice. Her professional identity is explicit in the feed. Clients, caseload, why visibility matters.
  • Fletchers Group events and offices. Birmingham opening, networking nights. Builds the firm narrative without performing it.
  • Ranking and community participation. The Q4 LinkedInfluencer announcement post is one of the top three of the quarter.
  • Self-development as a discipline. Working as hard on yourself as you do on your job. Posted with conviction, not as a slogan.

In her own words

Visibility on LinkedIn allows me to connect directly with clients who need a trusted medical negligence solicitor during what is often the most difficult time in their lives. It’s incredibly special that a significant proportion of my caseload now comes from clients who have actively chosen to work with me. I am able to build trust with clients before they instruct me. Clients will say, “Becca, I want you to be my lawyer because I feel like I already know you”.
LinkedIn also gives me space to share important messages on empowerment, wellbeing and authenticity in the legal profession. At 29 years old, I am on a mission to show that “if you are good enough, you are old enough”.

Best post of the quarter

A 16 January 2026 post on the opening of the Fletchers Birmingham office. 260 likes, 41 comments. An event-recap post written without the usual event-recap fatigue. The “I’m 29 today” post is close behind on a composite basis.

Firm context

Fletchers has a combined tracked LinkedIn power score of 133,980 across 315 individuals in the window. Horley’s 12,702 is 9.5% of that. One in ten of every Fletchers LinkedIn interaction in Q1 2026 went through her feed. For a firm built on consumer-facing legal work, that is a significant front-door asset.

Why follow her?

  • If you are trying to build a personal brand while doing client-facing work and want to see the two layered properly.
  • If you work in personal injury, medical negligence or any consumer practice where the client journey is the marketing.
  • If you want a working example of climbing the rankings consistently rather than spiking once.

If you only read one of her posts, read this

The “I’m 29 today” post. The cleanest expression of the Horley formula. Personal list, life behind the role, and a clear paragraph about why visibility matters for the kind of work she does. The post is the climb in miniature.
